Brandon Welch, MS, PhD | Biomedical Informatics, Founder
Brandon is technology innovator who is passionate about creating simple solutions for complex problems. He is trained in Human Genetics and is an Assistant Professor in Biomedical Informatics at the Medical University of South Carolina. He also founded Doxy.me and dokbot.io.
Joshua Schiffman, MD | Oncology, Cofounder
Joshua is the Medical Director of the High Risk Pediatric Cancer Clinic at the Huntsman Cancer Institute where he regularly treats patients with hereditary cancer syndromes and genetic susceptibility to cancer. He is a Professor in Pediatrics and Oncological Sciences at the University of Utah. His discovery why elephants rarely get cancer received national attention. He also founded PeelDx.
Heath Morrison | Technology, Cofounder
Heath is a technologist with over 20 years experience envisioning, designing, and implementing technology solutions for challenging problems and ideas. He has brought products to market in fields ranging from healthcare, civic tech, video games, real estate, and digital marketing. Heath received a B.S. in Physics from the University of Central Florida. He also founded dokbot.io.
Jim Cope | VP of Business Development, Strategy
Jim is an entrepreneur with expertise designing and implementing growth strategies in healthcare and technology. He leads corporate strategy, partnerships and sales at ItRunsInMyFamily. Jim has held roles of increasing responsibility in diverse industries including public accounting, manufacturing, oncology revenue cycle management and biotechnology. He received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of South Florida and is a CPA.
Caitlin G. Allen | Implementation Scientist
Caitlin is a researcher focused on evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of innovative tools in clinical and public health settings. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Davidson College, MPH from Emory University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education at Emory University.
Jordon Ritchie | Biomedical Informatics,Technology
Jordon is a biomedical informaticist specializing in the use of data and technology services to tackle problems in healthcare and biomedicine. He has a B.S. in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics from Brigham Young University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Data Science and Informatics at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Mariia Savchenko | Project Manager
Mariia is a project manager in science and academia and manages the implementation of research projects and product integrations with the ItRunsInMyFamily platform. Mariia received a B.S. in Biology from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine and contributes to field research on bat diversity and species distribution modelling.
